Emergency Room Nurse Night

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Emergency Department team. This position involves providing care in a free-standing ED with 15% pediatric patients. The RN will perform a variety of procedures, including sedation, rapid sequence intubation, and care for vascular devices.

Responsibilities:

Perform rapid sequence intubation and procedural sedation

Manage drains, Port-A-Cath, and vascular device access/care

Administer treatments such as BiPAP/CPAP and blood products

Provide care for ventilated patients and manage chest tubes

Obtain and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and EKGs

Ensure proper management of feeding tubes and PICC lines

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS

Experience with trach care, cardio version/defibrillation, and respiratory treatments

Knowledge of Epic charting system preferred

Charge experience is a plus
