Full-Time Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary The Electrician performs electrical work in control cabinets, panel boards, and other equipment. Responsibilities include wiring/rewiring of electrical cabinets, installing electrical hardware, running conduit, programming and installing PLCs, and maintaining clear work areas.
Responsibilities Install electrical hardware or software and wire selected devices in accordance with state and local codes.
Start up new, used or modified equipment and generate or modify operating instructions related to electrical items.
Assist in design layout and troubleshooting of electrical components.
Perform calibrations on electrical components when needed; program and install PLCs and create ladder logic diagrams.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED.
2-3 years of experience with ladder logic and PLC programming.
Prior electrical background.
Preferred Qualifications Journeyman's license preferred.
Strong knowledge of PLCs and programming.
