Modernization Principal Assistant Program ManagerYou will serve as the Modernization Principal Assistant Program Manager (PAPM) for the In-Service Strategic Submarine Program Office (PMS 396/SP 21).You will lead the planning, integration, and operational execution of OHIO Class Submarine Modernization programs and Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) Sustainment, ensuring maximum platform availability and fleet readiness.You will provide direct supervisory management for a division of civilian and contractor personnel.You will lead and coordinate a team of subject matter experts across the Non Propulsion Electronic Systems (NPES), C5I, Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical, and EDG areas of responsibility.You will serve as the principal programmatic and technical advisor to the Deputy Program Manager and Program Manager on all modernization strategies, EDG sustainment, schedule performance, and resource execution.You will serve as the primary liaison and build strategic alliances across a highly diverse stakeholder group, including Participating Acquisition Resource Managers, Type Commanders, General Dynamics Electric Boat, and various industry partners.You will drive the alignment, synchronization, and risk mitigation of complex modernization efforts spanning both Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical systems and NPES/C5I systems.You will develop program requirements and resource inputs for the Program Objective Memorandum and Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution cycles to secure necessary funding for critical modernization and sustainment initiatives.You will direct tasking under relevant Planning Yard and technical services contracts, establishing and funding Technical Instructions, evaluating vendor performance, and ensuring deliverables align with submarine modernization schedules.
