We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals
Handle chemical agents safely by following established safety protocols and handling procedures
Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial equipment to maintain floor care standards
Conduct heavy lifting tasks with safe lifting practices for moving supplies or equipment as needed
Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal in compliance with health regulations
Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or repairing fixtures when necessary
Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a hazard-free environment for staff and visitors
Skills

Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or residential cleaning practices
Ability to handle chemical agents safely and understand chemical handling safety procedures
Skilled in operating cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools
Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques
Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed
Knowledge of sanitation standards, facilities maintenance, and general custodial responsibilities
Ability to work independently with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
