We are collaborating with leading companies in East Lansing seeking Manufacturing Engineers to lead and enhance their operations.
We are building our network of talent in this field across West Michigan and the broader manufacturing region Pivot Group Network serves. Our partner companies may or may not have an immediate opening for this exact role today, but we actively look for skilled professionals in the regions where they operate. We partner with manufacturers across East Lansing seeking Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. Design and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Conduct root cause analysis of manufacturing defects and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality, and production, to optimize product design and manufacturability.
Evaluate and recommend new manufacturing technologies and equipment.
Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing layouts and tooling.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and experience implementing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.
