The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient‑centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre‑operative and post‑operative nursing care and serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.

Performs exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests. Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, patient status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow‑up measures. Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.

Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.

Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.

One (1) year of critical care experience as a licensed Registered Nurse preferred.

Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi‑State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
