Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent acute care OR experience, BLS and ACLS certification, and a CO or compact RN license.
Details

• Operating Room unit with 8 ORs and a staff of 25
• Day shift team includes Charge RN, RNs, CSTs, and Anesthesia staff, with hours of operation 7am-5:30pm
• Night shift covered by an on-call team
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Utilizes a full range of OR equipment, including a Belmont rapid infusion system
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Shift scheduled 7am-7pm
• On-call required with a 30-minute response time, rotating between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd call across weekdays and weekends over an 8-week period

Requirements

Active RN license (Standard or Compact) for Colorado currently in hand
Current BLS and ACLS certification
Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience required
Meditech EMR experience preferred
Experience in transplant and spine procedures preferred
Ability to function across multiple surgical service lines preferred
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information

Perform surgical nursing care across a variety of specialties including Orthopedic, ENT, Urology, Spine, General, GYN, Endoscopy, Plastics, and Cardiac procedures
Supported by experienced service line leaders
Strong teamwork with providers and staff is valued, along with a patient care-focused approach
Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; no local candidates accepted
