Job Description

ROLE - SPECIALTY

Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Schedule
12-Hour Day shift. Must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Assignment Details
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care in a healthcare setting.
• American Heart Association ACLS OR ALSO, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced FHM required. May substitute RNC-EFM for AWHONN FHM.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units.
• Monitor and assess maternal and neonatal health during and after labor.
• Assist with deliveries and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on newborn care and postpartum recovery.
• Occasionally take on charge nurse responsibilities, following training.
