As a member of a cross functional team, you lead RDQ activities required to complete process design and process deployment for innovation, growth and cost optimization projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.How you will contributeWorking independently, you will lead technical work across multiple projects aligned with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will also lead activities designed to generate appropriate process information using modelling and simulation, and pilot plant scale up and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. You will be involved with/lead process design and specifications, process scale-up and commissioning and will ensure the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. This position requires you to manage stakeholders and to influence decisions based on data analysis and interpretation of results; leverage connections to internal and external technical communities, and; z International a competitive advantage.Process development and/or process deployment ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods environmentLeading project teams and influencing cross-functional teamsPlanning and delivering on multiple prioritiesIdentifying complex technical or business problems and creating and implementing solutionsUnderstanding equipment design and manufacturing processes to support process specificationsUsing technical data to influence stakeholdersCoaching and mentoring others in a process communityBeing a constant champion for the consumerMore about this roleWhat you need to know about this position:Follow through on commitment and persevere through challenges to find creative solutions.Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook calendar and email management, written and oral communication skills.Be flexible and available to interact and connect with people at all levels in the organization.Knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques in relation to modern manufacturing concepts, Total Productive Maintenance & 6 Sigma tools.Flexible with an exceptionally high ability to prioritize tasks and daily work activities in a fast-paced environment.Education / Certifications:BS or MS in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.5 years of related experience in engineering, industrial technology, or related field.Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience and/or certification preferred.SAP experience preferred.Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment a plus.Monday- Friday Day Shift with flexibility based on business needSalary and BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is $97,300 to $133,815; In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
