As a Buyer, you will play a key role in managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely procurement of materials. Establishing and maintaining a vendor base for required materials.
Procuring, tracking, and expediting materials to meet customer expectations.
Generating reports to monitor purchase orders, safety stock, inventory values, and more.
Maintaining accuracy of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) data.
Associate degree in a technical field or Supply Chain Management, with at least 5 years of purchasing experience or a high school diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office Tools.
Strong communication skills with a focus on building positive vendor relationships.
Availability to travel occasionally (mainly local).
Availability to do overtime.
Proficiency in SAP
