Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
Manage patients across all acuity levels including MedSurg, Stepdown, and ICU within the ER
Perform ventilator management, critical care drips/titration, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and code responses
Administer medications, assist with procedures such as splinting, and operate medical equipment like chest tubes and hemodynamic lines
Support the hospital's trauma and acute care protocols, including stroke assessments and TPA administration
Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to hospital standards and protocols
Collaborate with ED physicians, hospitalists, and other multidisciplinary team members
What You Need

Active RN license in Louisiana
Minimum 2 years of ED experience; trauma experience preferred
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB certifications
Proficiency in ventilator management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and critical care procedures
Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start
Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills
