The Company is in search of an Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO) to provide executive leadership and strategic oversight of its information technology functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and advancement of IT systems that support patient care, compliance, and operational efficiency. This interim role involves acting as a bridge during a transitional period, guiding technology strategy, managing vendor relationships, and supporting digital health initiatives. The Interim CIO will also be tasked with preparing the organization for long-term leadership, assessing current IT operations, and recommending improvements in systems, staffing, and processes.
Applicants for the Interim CIO position at the company must have a proven track record as a CIO, Interim CIO, or senior IT leader in healthcare. Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems, including EHR/EMR platforms, interoperability, and clinical workflows, is essential. The role requires expertise in cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to manage enterprise IT strategy, budgets, and vendor partnerships, and possess excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's in a related field preferred. The Interim CIO will also be expected to lead, mentor, and support IT leadership and staff during the interim period and evaluate the organizational structure to recommend changes that strengthen long-term IT leadership.
