PRESCHOOL LEAD TEACHER WITH BACHELOR IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

Lead Teachers Wanted
The Growing Years of Clayton is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers to support the following age groups:

Preschool
To be qualified for the Lead Preschool and Pre-K Teacher opportunities, we require a high school diploma and the ability to pass all background checks. We also require an associate or a bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a relevant field or a completed associate or bachelor's degree with at least 12 credits of early childhood education or their equivalent. A plus if you have previous childcare experience!
Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm OR 9:00am - 6:00pm OR 8:45am-5:45pm
Compensation: $18-$20 per hour, based on education and experience

Our Hiring Process for Lead Two's Teachers:

• Phone screen with recruiter (30 minutes)
• On-site interview with Center Director (30-60 minutes)
• Main Job Responsibilities for Lead Pre-K Teachers:

Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently.
Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
