What MedicalPeople looks for in Stepdown Nurses to join our Nursing Team:
- Strong clinical Nurses who have comprehensive medical nursing knowledge
- Need to have experience with advanced Telemetry equipment
- Ability to respond quickly to emergent situations.
- Experience assisting with ventilators, tracheostomies, arterial lines, IVs, central lines, IV pumps, syringe pumps, PD catheters, Foley catheters, G-tubes, NG-tubes
- 2 Years of Nursing experience in critical care, or Stepdown Nursing positions
- Active state license as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS (facility dependent)
- Strong documentation skills
- Ability to learn and adjust new EMR systems, equipment, and facilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team member in a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to float and assist others in the delivery of patient care.
