Job Summary:

Adult Surgical Unit Registered Nurse in New Hampshirelocated in Lebanon. This position involves caring for trauma and acute care surgical patients in a busy, high-volume unit that includes negative pressure rooms for COVID-19 protocols. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: NH Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required); Basic Life Support (BLS); 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience including chest tubes, tubes, drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone; lines, tubes, drains for post-surgical patients; tracheostomies/laryngectomies; telemetry; complex wounds; central linescare, maintenance, and blood draws.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a fast-paced medical surgical unit; trauma center experience (preferably Level I, with several years at Level II trauma centers).
Additional Information: This unit primarily cares for trauma patientsincluding spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, orthopedic injuriesas well as acute surgical diagnoses like hernia repairs, bowel obstructions, appendectomies, and cholecystectomies. The RN-to-patient ratios are 1:4 during the day and 1:5 at night.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
