Our Float RNs are adaptable professionals with diverse expertise. They float to almost all areas of the hospital and must adjust quickly to changing needs.

How You'll Contribute

Perform care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.

Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.

Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual or psychosocial support.

Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff; perform or assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

Complete staff responsibilities as needed to meet required service levels.

What We're Looking For

Associate's Degree in Nursing, required.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.

Current RN license to practice in the state of KY.

At least 2 years of critical care experience.

Certifications: BCLS; ACLS & PALS (per unit specific requirements).
