Legal team in managing a diverse portfolio of contractual, and regulatory matters in Miami, Ft. The Paralegal will be an internal part of the Legal team and must adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards.The ideal candidate will assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, maintaining claim records, supporting litigation, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external counsel.About UsAtkinsRealis is one of the world's most respected design, engineering, and project management consultancies. AtkinsRealis has the depth and breadth of expertise to respond to the most technically challenging and time-critical infrastructure projects and the urgent transition to a low-carbon economy.Draft, edit, and organize legal documents, including payment demand letters, claims responses and other legal correspondence.Conduct legal and regulatory research on government contracts law, agency regulations, and to support corporate compliance.Assist attorneys to put together training materials and presentations for internal clients.Assist attorneys and liaise with outside counsel in preparing and responding to discovery requests, subpoenas, and litigation holds.Gather documentation to assist with claims management and insurance reporting.Maintain claim and litigation databases (e.g., Coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders on pre-claim disputes and other legal matters.Monitor deadlines, and deliverables related to contracts, litigation, and other filings as needed.Participate in process improvements and digital transformation initiatives within the legal department.Associates or Bachelor's degree preferably in Paralegal Studies or related field and a minimum of 4 years Paralegal experience, preferably in a corporate/commercial in-house or law firm setting.With High School Diploma, must have a Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program or a minimum of 10 years requisite experience.Strong knowledge of legal terminology.Claim/litigation database management.Advance skills in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite to assist with presentations, reports and legal documents.Experience in the engineering, construction, architecture or project management sectors preferred.Relevant experience in corporate in-house or construction law firm.Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsCollaborative and fun attitude – ready to be a part of a dynamic and growing US & Latam regional legal team.AtkinsRéalis realizes that health, mental and financial wellbeing, are all equally needed to achieve balance in life.
