Registered Nurse- Fulltime- Nursing Pool

Location: Lebanon, KY
Schedule: PRN

Responsibilities

Delegate and coordinate nursing care throughout the hospital and ensure quality nursing care is delivered.

Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.

Document patient care given.

Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.

Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

Determine, coordinate, and supervise daily staffing assignments and levels.

Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.

Perform or assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

Assess and ensure the quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs.

Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.

Perform staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.

Lead the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as per unit requirements.

One year of emergency department experience preferred.
