TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Oncology RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Oncology
Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | 13–26 Week Assignment
Provide direct patient care to a primarily medical-surgical population with oncology history, including administration of chemotherapy, biotherapy (IV, PO, or injection), and management of complex diagnoses such as sepsis, AKI, malignant neoplasms, and diabetic foot ulcers
Perform and manage clinical skills including colostomy care, port access, blood product administration, central line blood draws, PICC line management, peripheral line care, surgical drain management, chest tube care, wound care, and wound vac management
Administer and monitor high-risk medications including heparin drips and insulin
Float to similar units and alternate inpatient care locations as needed, including inpatient holding in the ED
Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling requirements and fulfill on-call obligations for pre-scheduled shifts if called off
Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state (pending licensure acceptable at time of submission)
Proficiency with PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR communication
Must pass EKG testing prior to start
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred
Charge nurse experience
