Head of Supply Chain & Logistics

The Director of Logistics provides strategic leadership and oversight for Logistics, Fleet, Facilities, Maintenance, Purchasing, and equipment operations. This role ensures teams have the resources, infrastructure, and operational support necessary to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality service.

The Director is responsible for establishing departmental strategy, maintaining compliance with organizational policies and standards, and driving operational efficiency across all areas of responsibility. Serving as a key partner to departments throughout the organization, this position provides guidance on logistics, purchasing, fleet, facilities, and related operational matters to support organizational goals.

In partnership with the VP of Ground Operations, the Director develops and executes business strategies, optimizes regional resources, communicates organizational priorities, and provides coaching, mentorship, and leadership to staff.

Provide strategic oversight of fleet, facilities, maintenance, inventory, purchasing, equipment, and logistics operations.

• Partner with the VP of Ground Operations and organizational leaders to establish priorities, optimize resources, and support operational goals.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to improve operational efficiency, service quality, cost management, and asset utilization.
• Ensure vehicles, facilities, equipment, and supplies are safe, serviceable, and maintained to established standards.
• Manage inventory and purchasing processes, including appropriate stocking levels, asset tracking, vendor relationships, and loss prevention.
• Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory, accreditation, licensing, safety, and organizational requirements, including CAAS, DEA, and Ohio pharmacy requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, technology, products, and services while balancing safety, quality, cost, and operational needs.
• Identify and mitigate operational, financial, regulatory, safety, security, and asset-related risks.
• Support strategic planning, budgeting, project management, quality improvement, and organizational initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with employees, partners, vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal customers.

Leadership experience in logistics, fleet, facilities, supply chain, operations, or a related field.

• Strong financial, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with inventory, purchasing, asset management, facilities, fleet, or maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of regulatory, accreditation, safety, and compliance requirements relevant to the role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with employees, vendors, partners, and senior leadership.
• Commitment to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.
• Ability to develop and execute both short- and long-term strategic plans.

Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related field preferred.

• Strong financial, administrative, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a dynamic, non-routine environment with minimal direction.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
• Work is generally performed in a normal office environment with minimal exposure to noise, heat, dust, etc.
