Maintenance - Landscape / Groundskeeper

Join our team as a Grounds Worker I, where you will help maintain all exterior areas of the community, ensuring a beautiful and safe environment for our residents. In this role you will play a critical role in the grand opening of Emerson Lakes, one of Erickson Senior Living's most anticipated new communities in beautiful Lakewood Ranch, Florida.

Emerson Lakes will be a premier, state-of-the-art continuing care retirement community designed to serve more than 1,500 residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. This gated community will feature an impressive array of amenities, including multiple restaurants, a stunning outdoor swimming pool, a cutting-edge fitness center, an onsite medical center, and much more.

Compensation: commensurate with experience starting at $18.00 per hour.

Assist in the maintenance of all lawns, trees, gardens and shrubbery

including trash removal, weeding, pet stations, dog runs, fencing, etc.

Installation and maintenance of exterior signs

Assist residents with gardening

Assist in the snow removal of the community

Assistance in the maintenance of all associated equipment

Application of landscaping chemicals

Minimum 1 year of landscaping or grounds experience preferred

Valid driver's license is required if operating Community vehicles

Ability to use required equipment and implement all plans formulated by Grounds Management

The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) requires all new hires to successfully complete and pass an extensive Level 2 background screening, which covers U.Federal, State and City checks (submitting fingerprints), prior to the start of employment.
