Conduct Comprehensive Evaluations

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, creating tailored treatment strategies

Implement physical therapy interventions focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function

Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to maximize patient outcomes

Educate patients and families about therapeutic objectives, planning for discharge, and home-based exercises

Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless patient care

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from a recognized program

Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist

CPR certification is preferred

Specialized training in areas such as neurology or geriatrics is beneficial but not mandatory

Previous experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable

Ability to manage patients with intricate medical histories and mobility challenges

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Familiarity with electronic charting and healthcare documentation systems
