FULL TIME Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their team in Paducah, KY. This full-time, on-site position involves supporting a broad range of civil practice areas, offering opportunities for professional growth and specialization.

Duties Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and contracts.

Provide clear legal advice to clients under senior attorney supervision.

Participate in client meetings and assist with case strategy.

Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and mediations.

Support negotiations and settlement discussions.

Collaborate with partners and colleagues on case management.

Track deadlines and ensure compliance with procedures.

Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Active license or eligibility for licensure in Kentucky, Illinois, or Tennessee.

Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively.

Proficient in legal research using electronic tools.

Effective negotiation skills and client advocacy.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Prior experience in civil litigation or business law preferred.

Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications Active license or eligibility for licensure in Kentucky, Illinois, or Tennessee.
