Fabrication Machinist- Second Shift

Job Title: CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Shift: Monday - Friday 2:45pm - 10:45pm

Are you a skilled machinist with a passion for precision and innovation? At Ingersoll Rand, we are seeking a talented and dedicated CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. Follow Standard Work for machine setup, running parts, and preventative maintenance.

Inspect, deburr, and perform manual operations or operate additional equipment.

Update and maintain visual controls.

Identify and report equipment abnormalities.

2+ (two) or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.

2+ (two) or more years of experience as a CNC Machine Operator/Machinist.

Ability to convert between metric and US standard units of measure.

Ability to effectively use tools such as depth gages, bore gages, height gages, feeler gages, micrometers, calipers, deburring tools, die grinders, drill presses, overhead lifting equipment, etc.

Ability to effectively share information about job duties in one‑on‑one and small group situations to supervisor, customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Experience with CNC Machines (Okuma, Moriseiki, Mazak, Haas, Makino, or Fanuc), Mills, and Lathes.

Proven ability to set up and operate CNC machining work centers, specializing in tool changes and in‑process offset adjustments.

This position will be based 100% onsite at our Southern Pines, North Carolina facility.
