The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Social Worker/Licensed Supervisor, LCSW at Georgia Regional Hospital – Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA.

Salary: $83,700.00

Job Description:

The employee will be the primary Social Worker Supervisor for the West and Central Units. This position is critical in that this person would be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day social service function for all teams on both units. Duties would include completing SW assessments, family contact/therapy, individual counseling, treatment planning, discharge planning and group counseling.

Master's degree in social work and counseling from an accredited college or university and licensure in the area of assignment and three (3) years of experience at the lower level Social Worker, Licensed 3 (HCP052) or position equivalent; or Master's degree in social work and counseling from an accredited college or university and licensure in the area of assignment and three (3) years of experience in the provision of therapeutic services with, which includes one (1) year in a managerial or supervisory role.
