Registered Nurse - Telemetry/MedSurg

Contract - RN - Med Surg/Telemetry - 13 Weeks

Location: South Austin, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (12-hour shifts, includes weekends)

Job Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Neuro Medical/Surgical unit specializing in telemetry. The nurse will provide patient care in a 30-bed unit with a typical patient ratio of 1:5, ensuring safety and optimal care delivery.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.

Monitor patient progress and vital signs.

Coordinate care among interdisciplinary teams.

Provide education and support to patients and families.

Participate in unit-based performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license in the state of Texas.

BLS certification required.

IV certification for LVNs preferred.

ACLS certification preferred.
