Dish Person Full/Part Time/Flexible hours

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time DISHWASHER positions.
Location: Colorado Christian University - 8787 West Alameda Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80226.
Schedule: Full and part time. Days may vary; 8 hours a week, 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Weekend availability is required.
Requirement: No previous experience is required. Willing to train.
Pay Range: $18.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.
Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Job Summary
Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to the dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.

Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.

Polish silver using burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth depending on assigned equipment and procedures. Ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.

Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures.

Maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.

Keep dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.

Sweep and mop kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Wash work tables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.

Remove trash and place it in designated containers. Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.

Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.

Help load and unload supplies and product.

Perform other duties as assigned.
