Part-Time Custodian / Janitor / Housekeeper
Schedule: Part-time (afternoon/evening hours)
The Dave & Mary Alper Jewish Community Center (Alper JCC) in Miami is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor/Housekeepe r to join our Facilities team. Perform daily and deep cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, offices, fitness areas, and community spaces.
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
Pressure clean outdoor walkways, walls, and other surfaces as assigned.
Assist with special cleaning projects, event setups, and breakdowns.
Follow all safety procedures and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Collaborate with the maintenance and custodial team to ensure all areas meet JCC cleanliness standards.
Prior custodial, housekeeping, or janitorial experience preferred.
Experience with pressure cleaning equipment a plus.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
Operate cleaning and pressure washing equipment safely and effectively.
Tolerate exposure to cleaning chemicals and occasional outdoor work.
Repetitive motion and frequent movement throughout large facilities.
