The Bennett Family Center is seeking an Early Childhood Development Educator -Pre-K Counts committed to the process of creating and providing high quality learning environments for children and families. Assignment will be in a preschool classroom.

Supporting and maintaining high quality classroom standards in a mixed age setting
Providing oversight and training of interns and student teachers in early childhood education undergraduate programs
Maintaining standards in accordance with Pre-K Counts, National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation and PA Keystone STARS 4 quality standards
This position minimally requires a Bachelor's degree, plus 1 year of relevant experience.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree
or minimum of Child Development (CDA) Credential; see Commonwealth of Pennsylvania PA Career Lattice information and NAEYC guidelines for typical experience and education requirements
None Required to hold PA Early Childhood Education Teaching Certification. Previous work experience using the Environmental Rating Scale (ERS), Positive Behavior Support (PBS), and PA Early Learning Standards (ELS) highly desired.
