Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN)

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, call rotation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery

Prepare and maintain the operating room with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies

Assist the surgical team during procedures, including robotics and general surgery

Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia status throughout surgery

Document patient care accurately in Cerner EMR

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR techs to ensure safe, smooth procedures

Active RN license in California

• 2+ years of Operating Room nursing experience
• Cerner EMR proficiency required
• Solid understanding of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and OR protocols

Comfortable with a variety of cases: general, vascular, robotics, urology, ENT, ortho, and more

Adaptability to handle trauma and emergency cases when they arise
