Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.Shift DetailsType: NightsLength: 12-hour shiftsGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekEvery third weekend requiredJob ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care to patients in the Emergency Room, including boarding patients when necessary.Float to Medical Surgical (MS) and Critical Care Unit (CCU) as needed, fulfilling the role of an ER RN.Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Perform assessments and manage patient care effectively in a high-volume setting.Complete required orientation shifts in ER, MS, and CCU.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of recent experience in an Emergency Room setting.Preferred experience in Critical Care Unit (CCU) and Medical/Surgical (MS) units.Certifications: ACLS, BLS Certification, NIHSS, PALS (TNCC and ENPC preferred).Experience with Cerner EMR system required.Ability to start IVs and administer medications.Flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and patient needs.Strong skills in crowd management and patient triaging within the ER.Work EnvironmentEmergency Room equipped with 26 beds and 3 trauma bays.Daily patient volume averaging 60 patients.Staff ratios of 1 to 4.In-house security and support staff available 24/7.Additional InformationTeamwork and punctuality are crucial in maintaining a high standard of patient care.Commitment to fulfilling the contract is expected.Tattoo policies allow visible tattoos unless deemed inappropriate; piercings must adhere to professional standards.If you are a flexible, committed, and skilled Emergency Room RN looking for an opportunity to make an impact, we encourage you to apply.
