Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive oral examinations and diagnose dental conditions in pediatric patients

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's oral health needs

Provide preventive, restorative, and therapeutic dental services

Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations

Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care as needed

Maintain accurate and complete patient records and treatment documentation

Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient experiences

Promote a comfortable and positive environment for pediatric patients and their families

Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards of dental practice

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school

Completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency program

Current dental license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice

Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
