Store Merchandiser/ Cashier

Merchandiser

Greet customers on the sales floor, directing them to product or parts specialist (including hard parts).

Check out customers and deter shoplifters.

Keep the front area stocked and fronted, stock merchandise according to planograms or displays, and complete sales preparation.

Check in, price, and put up stock.

Keep merchandise on display floor fronted, full, and clean on a daily basis.

Ensure all "sale" signs are in place, sales flyer rack is stocked, and maintain sufficient quantities of sale merchandise on display.

Remove all sale material when the sale ends and restore original pricing.

Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.

Work with manager to complete store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks.

Act as main shoplifting deterrent/front floor security.

Clock in/out according to company policy.

Handle merchandise returns from customers in a friendly and efficient manner.

When the express lane is not being utilized and the counter is busy, assist customers by finishing tickets, taking money, checks, and credit cards.

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Previous cashier and/or stocking experience. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
