Contingent 72 hours per month

Shifts Available: Nights

Choose one zone to work plus one additional hospital outside of the zone (total of 5 hospital locations).

Required experience: 2-3 years of recent Med/Surg experience

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices. Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient‑specific data collection (such as vital signs).

Education/Experience Required

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Two years of related clinical nursing experience in the area of interest and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.

Willingness to float to multiple locations.

Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Certifications/Licenses Required

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

Current BLS. ACLS, NRP, and EFM where required.
