Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer - Cost Improvement, to join our Fireplaces Business Unit in Mt. We are the nation's leading manufacturer and supplier of hearth products, including a wide variety of gas, electric, wood and pellet burning fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and accessories. Headquartered in Lakeville, Minnesota, with distribution around the world, our innovative approach is supported by a business unit structure that allows us to develop and market products with a strong focus on customers' needs.

You'll collaborate with talented engineering and operations teams, drive meaningful change, and help shape the future of our manufacturing capabilities.
Lead high-impact initiatives that improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality across the facility.
Partner with Production, Operations, and New Product Development teams to drive continuous improvement and manufacturability solutions.
Evaluate engineering design changes in Creo and SolidWorks, ensuring seamless implementation into production.
Optimize product designs, manufacturing processes, and workflows to improve productivity, quality, and scalability.
Design and implement mistake-proofing (poka-yoke) solutions that reduce defects and improve customer satisfaction.
Lead cross-functional projects from concept through implementation, delivering measurable operational results.
Analyze production data and manufacturing trends to uncover opportunities for improvement and cost reduction.
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; 4+ years of manufacturing engineering, process improvement, or continuous improvement experience.

• Experience with CAD platforms such as Creo, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Project, and Outlook.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

Passion for solving complex manufacturing and process challenges.
Strong project leadership skills with the ability to drive initiatives from idea to implementation.
Effective communicator who can influence stakeholders and build partnerships across all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making.
Results-oriented approach with a commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Primarily in a Manufacturing facility with split focus between an office environment and the production floor with core work hours of Monday through Thursday, 6:00AM - 4:20PM.
