Associate Attorney (Remote Flexible)

Seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to manage litigation matters from inception through resolution. This role involves handling assigned cases independently while collaborating with a supportive legal team. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery, taking and defending depositions, attending hearings and court appearances, and preparing detailed status reports and evaluations for clients and carriers.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple matters in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong communication with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of litigation experience

Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

Experience taking and defending depositions

Ability to analyze claims and provide evaluations to clients/carriers

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based legal systems

Experience with billing time entries and detailed billing descriptions

Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Key Responsibilities

Manage litigation cases from start to finish

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence

Conduct and defend depositions

Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances

Analyze claims and prepare detailed status reports for clients/carriers

Maintain accurate billing records and time entries

Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and clients to move matters forward
