Cardiac Sonographer, Work on Weekends

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.
• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live 50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details:
Required Credentials: - Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted. - Associate’s Degree in Ultrasound.
Unit Details: - Performs a full range of cardiac diagnostic testing and routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures in the echocardiography laboratory. - Assists performing physicians and sonographers in providing high quality echocardiographic exams. - Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
Shift & Scheduling: - On-call 1-2 days/wk. - Every 5th weekend. - Rotational holidays.
Floating Requirements: - Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. - The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS
