RN - Emergency Department (Healthcare)

Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Location: Wytheville, Virginia

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, Weekly on Mondays

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in our emergency department. The ideal candidate will have a background in trauma care and will be skilled in managing a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in the ER.

Adhere to established protocols for triaging patients in accordance with best practices.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and compliance.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients.

Utilize MedHost EHR for documentation and patient record management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

RN license required.

Certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Previous experience in the ER, with a preference for trauma experience.

Familiarity with MedHost EHR is preferred.
