Position: Labor & Delivery and Nursery RN
We are seeking a qualified Labor & Delivery and Nursery RN with couplet care experience to join a rural community hospital in Hawaii. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with approximately 45-50 deliveries each month.
Shift Details
Type: 12-hour night shifts
Hours: 72-80 working hours every two weeks
Charge nurse duties: An additional $2.00/hour compensation when assigned
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care to labor and delivery patients as well as nursery care for newborns
Monitor fetal health using intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring techniques
Float to assist other departments as needed, though not serving as a primary nurse
Requirements
Must have prior Labor and Delivery experience
Active Hawaii Nursing License
Strong clinical skills in couplet care
Ability to adapt to a rural community hospital setting
