Rooming Nurse - LPN

We're seeking a caring and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse to support our providers and ensure a smooth patient experience. In this role, you'll take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, and help maintain a clean and organized clinical environment. You'll be an essential part of our primary care team, working together to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care.

Position Type: Full-time 38-40 hours per week, non-exempt

Pay Information: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

The Rooming Nurse assists providers with patient care by using current standards for preventative measures. Works within the scope of practice to obtain necessary medical data for a patient's visit.

Obtain vital signs and perform medication reconciliation during rooming process in a timely and professional manner

Report patient health-related needs to provider

Use Disease Management and Health Maintenance as age-based tool to assist with and create orders, administer vaccines, and other incentive measures

Perform various medical procedures and assist providers

Work in messaging and document tanks to return patient calls about medical questions and results

Enter patient information in electronic chart system as needed

Monitor inventory and expiration dates on medical supplies and order supplies as needed

Provide back up where needed, attend to walk-ins, and assist reception with resolving patient issues or complaints

New York State Practical Nursing Licensure required

CPR training required

Nursing Degree required
