Flexible Full-Time/Part-Time Associate Veterinarian Position
Tempus Veterinary Recruitment
Our client is a privately owned, well-established, AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. Currently caring for cats and dogs, the practice is also open to expanding into other species should the successful veterinarian wish to introduce these services. With a strong emphasis on medical autonomy, this is an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to develop their careers in a supportive and flexible environment. The Associate Veterinarian is responsible for delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals while building strong relationships with clients through clear communication and education. The Associate Veterinarian will also promote preventative healthcare, maintain compliance with hospital protocols, and contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-oriented working environment. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Full mentorship is provided for new graduates, including full access to Read, Vet, Go. Working hours are fully flexible to suit both the successful veterinarian and the needs of the practice.
The hospital is open Monday to Saturday from 7:30am to 6:00pm.
This well-equipped practice offers modern diagnostic and surgical technology to support high-quality companion animal medicine. Veterinarians have access to an in-house laboratory for rapid blood work and diagnostic testing, digital radiography (X-ray), advanced surgical equipment, laser therapy, and modern anesthesia monitoring equipment. These resources enable efficient diagnosis and treatment while supporting preventative care, dentistry, and routine soft tissue surgery.
Established in 1962, the purpose-designed facility has been serving the Studio City community for more than 60 years. The practice features dedicated examination rooms, a fully equipped treatment area, surgical suites, an in-house laboratory, boarding facilities, comfortable patient care spaces, and modern diagnostic capabilities, allowing veterinarians to manage a broad range of wellness, medical, and surgical cases. The hospital also operates as a paperless practice and utilizes an AI scribe to support clinical workflows.
A comprehensive range of services is provided for dogs and cats, offering a varied companion animal caseload. Services include wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention and control, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, preventative healthcare, in-house diagnostics, laser therapy, anesthesia and patient monitoring, health screening tests, boarding, nutritional counselling, and the ongoing management of acute and chronic medical conditions. The hospital also offers a selection of veterinary-approved pet foods, supplements, and other pet care products to support continued patient health. Additional services are welcomed should the successful veterinarian wish to introduce them, and an internist visits the practice weekly to perform ultrasounds, with the opportunity for veterinarians to perform their own ultrasounds if they are comfortable doing so.
The hospital is currently home to one DVM who is supported by an experienced team, maintaining an approximate 2:1 support staff-to-doctor ratio. This collaborative environment enables veterinarians to focus on delivering high-quality patient care while benefiting from strong clinical and operational support.
