Job Description
Travel RN - Labor & Delivery
Schedule
Patient ratios: 1:1 (days) and 1:1 (nights). Weekend coverage is not required. Specific shift scheduling will be determined.
Assignment Details
Orientation: 36 hours. Pre-approved time off: 2 shifts per contract.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
IV start skills required.
Experience with Epic charting is required.
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
AWHONN Advanced preferred; NCC C-EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced.
Responsibilities
Assist with labor and delivery, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
Utilize external and internal fetal monitoring (EFM/IUPC) and interpretation.
Manage IV starts, infusion pump/drip management, as well as blood/blood product administration.
Perform neonatal resuscitation and APGAR assessments.
Support with epidural/analgesia and magnesium sulfate therapy.
Recognize and manage dysrhythmias.

Compliance / Notes
COVID-19 vaccine is not required; flu vaccine is required (medical exemptions only). Strict fingerprinting deadline applies; candidate must complete fingerprinting ASAP. RNs must have a valid state or compact license at the time of submission. Two professional references are required, one of which must be a manager, director, or supervisor.
