ECT Nurse

The ECT Nurse is responsible for providing pre/post ECT care for the patient as per department policy. Job duties include starting and removing IVs, monitoring vital signs during recovery period, checking equipment to ensure operational status, assisting in preparing and organizing ECT treatment area, reporting unsafe conditions, providing age-specific communication, limit setting and interventions, offering health education to patients and their families, interacting with patients and staff in a professional manner, promoting teamwork and demonstrating service excellence, attending mandatory staff meetings, and performing other duties as assigned.
