Must-Have:
Current unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) required within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be willing to work flexible hours.
Preferred experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, and psychiatric patients.
Experience in patient assessments, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities is preferred.
Description:
This position involves nursing administration role within a behavioral health division.
You will oversee nursing operations on a unit with 77 beds and a patient ratio of 1:11.
The patient population primarily consists of adults.
You will be expected to work on up to four different units as needed.
You will participate in working with patients who present various psychiatric needs.
Experience in patient assessments and family motivation is highly valued.
Strong communication skills are essential for this role.
All staff are expected to adhere to established protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.
