Smile Design Lake Mary is looking for a motivated and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates and welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
Full-Time Schedule:

Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and other preventive treatments within the scope of practice.
Perform patient assessments, collect and review medical histories, and record clinical findings.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, treatment recommendations, and the connection between oral and overall health.
Take and interpret dental radiographs in accordance with state regulations.
Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
Help create a positive patient experience by building trust and fostering long-term patient relationships.
Support office goals through teamwork, efficiency, and a commitment to exceptional service.
Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Florida or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Current dental hygienist license
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
