Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift 3x12 Hours
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is executed effectively. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees, fostering a safe and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to establish an individualized plan of care.
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct patient care, emphasizing patient and family education.
Communicate pertinent information regarding changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care.
Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel, promoting effective teamwork and structured decision-making.
Maintain safety in accordance with hospital and nursing policies and procedures.
Actively pursue professional development and education opportunities in nursing.
BLS certification required prior to first shift.
ACLS certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).
Experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is required.
This position involves a night shift schedule, specifically three 12-hour shifts per week.
