CNC Programmers - Manufacturing

Under the direction of Manager or Team Leader, performs duties required to machine components produced in our manufacturing facility. Produce components per engineering prints with safety and quality as their focus. Multiple alloys and materials will regularly be used.

Sets up and operates a variety of CNC and manual grinding and lathe machines. Fits and/or assembles parts by performing the following duties.

Plan and set up various CNC machines.

• Report any errors, defective material, or faulty equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance to maintain and equipment.
• Inspects work and completes inspection forms.
• Handles materials as necessary, loading and unloading.
• Provides in-house shop support as directed by supervisor.
• Comply with all Company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Use fork trucks, floor cranes, high lifts, and other mobile equipment.
• Trade school, Associate degree or similar set gained through work experience.

Requires ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, welding machines & machining centers. Must have visual acuity, manual dexterity, good hearing, coordination, balance, ability to endure long hours, excellent problem-solving skills, and wear required personal protective equipment.
