Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team at our lab in Birmingham, AL . The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30pm - 5:00am; Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Casual, PRN & Part Time employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours are eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan only. Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Resolve and document any problem specimens

High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous medical or production experience is a plus
Strong data entry and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Office
