INTEGRATION & TEST ENGINEER (STARLINK PROPULSION)

As an Integration & Test Engineer for Starlink propulsion you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and optimize production processes for key sub-assemblies and components of the propulsion system, comprised of the Argon Hall Thruster, propellant feed systems, and satellite primary structure. Engineers on this team must have a working knowledge of design, schematics, operations, manufacturing, testing, and flight checkouts. A successful Integration & Test Engineer demonstrates engineering intuition and critical thinking and is comfortable working under ambiguous requirements with minimal oversight. Combining these skills, these engineers face challenges across a wide variety of work centers at the company, and the team is frequently asked to tackle new, inter-departmental development projects. Manage and develop integration line, build flow, and test operations
Regularly challenge each process, part, and operation while working closely with design/development engineers to create the most manufacturable and reliable satellite hardware possible
Maintain a sense of holistic ownership over the production line including process consistency, quality, tooling, capital equipment, ergonomics, and safety
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
~1+ years of hands-on fabrication, assembly, testing, and/or project management experience via internships, labs, clubs, extracurricular activities, or professional industry experience

Experience with integration and testing of propulsion, high-pressure, thermal, electrical, and/or structural systems
Understanding of test methods/setups and data acquisition systems
Documentation and configuration management experience
Experience writing test plans and procedures, and providing go/no-go judgment and rationale
Demonstrated engineering intuition, critical thinking, and comfort with ambiguity
Some travel to our launch sites may be required as needed, up to 10%
Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
Integration & Test Engineer/Level I: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00/per year
Integration & Test Engineer/Level II: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00/per year
