Experience: Proven experience in hospital obstetric care; NICU Level III experience preferred

What You'll Do

Provide obstetric and gynecological care for assigned patients in a hospital setting

Manage labor, delivery, and postpartum care for an average of 4,690 annual hospital deliveries

Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Support residents from Family Medicine rotation on emergent obstetric cases

Participate in emergent gynecology procedures and acute patient management

Ensure documentation and compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Support NICU Level III patients and coordinate care with community providers

What You Need

Valid California Medical License

Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine or OB/GYN

Minimum 2+ years of hospital obstetric care experience

Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery, emergency gynecology, and NICU support

Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

This assignment is at a well-respected hospital in Visalia, California, supporting a pseudo laborist program. The facility manages a high volume of deliveries annually and provides in-house anesthesia coverage 24/7. You will work alongside a dedicated team, supporting emergent OB/GYN cases, NICU patients, and community providers, ensuring excellent patient outcomes.
